Great article in the January 2023 Wavetops about local hero (born in Littleton, CO) Lieutenant Commander Dennis A. Moore ’60, USN, who endured seven and a half years in eight different North Vietnam prisons including three internments in the infamous Hoa Lo Prison—dubbed “The Hanoi Hilton” by the POWs.  He was subsequently awarded the Silver Star.  The article includes Moore’s personal survival story given in an interview on Montana Public Radio (2018) and a tribute given by his class just after his passing on 26 November 2022.
